The Clios Rebrand

 

The Clio organization grappled with the ongoing obstacle of insufficient awareness regarding their diverse property portfolio. While many people know about their awards, Muse and Ads of the World aren't easily recognized as part of Clio. It became time to embrace the organization's growth and acknowledge their long-standing industry nickname "The Clios" with a rebrand aimed at unifying the brand. We took the iconic globe from the award statue and centered the identity around that primary mark. This also served to emphasize the fact that this is a global award show, with the vast majority of entries coming from outside the US. We developed the type by using the globe as a grid to create letter forms..
